Leslie and I had wanted to write an accurate and enjoyable book on our favorite location. However, after having moved northward several states, it seems uncertain when we will ever be able to finish what we have undertaken. Not being able to publish, yet wanting to share our love for these mountains, we make available to you what we have completed. These notes may not any longer be 100% accurate and I know with certainty that they are not fully organized. But they are, I hope and feel, helpful to would-be Smoky Mountain lovers everywhere.
