This year, after many years at the college, the Toledo Plastic Modeler's show moved to a new venue.
Maumee High School in Maumee, OH proved to be a very suitable location, with ample close parking, and plenty
of room for the contest and vendors. Another feature happened to be the natural light that filtered
into the contest area, nicely supplementing the ceiling lighting. Attendance was good with over 260
models entered by 66 contestants. In addition to that, the hosting clubs held their own side contest
for their members, which brought the total number of kits on the table to around 300.
Unfortunately, due to computer issues, the results data for the 2011 show was severely compromised.
Even with the best efforts to forensically reconstruct the data, we did not achieve the level of detail that
we needed to give the presentation that we planned on displaying. Therefore, below we present winners
from various categories, grouped together by type, in no particular order. We apologize for any name
or spelling errors, and if you see an issue, please let us know. The Toledo and Fremont clubs wish to
thank everyone for coming and participating in the show, and we hope to see you again next year!
