  • Clearwater Marine Aquarium
Official home of Winter, star of "Winter's Dolphin's Tale Adventure"!! In December 2006, the CMA team was unknowingly about to encounter the most amazing animal: one that would catapult their mission of marine life rescue, rehabilitation and release into the public eye around the world. Winter is likely the most famous dolphin in the world. You may have seen her featured on the NBC Today Show, CNN, BBC, or hundreds of newspapers around the world. Fame hasn't jaded Winter, and she's looking forward to your visit!!
  • The Fish Hole Miniature Golf
Great little golf course. 18 holes amidst tropical, lush foliage. Perfect island putt putt! Excellent use of the area they have. Great fun to look at all the items placed around. Feeding the fish was great. Spray mist was a great welcome during the hot day sun. Night golf with everything lit up was neat. Best though is how they treat the kids. Little take aways at the end of a game. Ability to win free games and rounds- we won two! Free Ice Cream for hole in one on 18th hole- my child got one! The owners/employees are very friendly and WELCOME you there. Great FUN!
  • Coquina Baywalk Nature Trail
The Coquina Bay Walk is a nice little set of walking trails and boardwalks that lets you go through the mangrove tunnels and see all different types of Florida wildlife. It’s between Bradenton Beach and Longboat Key and is directly across from the public area of Coquina Beach! We took a nice little walk just before sunset and just a couple minutes into our walk I was head on with the biggest raccoon I’ve ever seen…at first glance I seriously thought it was a bear! It was more scared of me, though and ran away before I could snap a photo! We encountered all types of birds and really enjoyed reading the information boards describing the trees and mangroves and giving a little history of each one! Some of the paths are sandy and if we were quiet enough we would see tons of little crabs (cutie crabs according to the girls) scurry off into their holes! There is a wide variety of vegetation here and it protects and provides shelter for the birds and marine life that call this place home!
