Anna Maria Island Trolley (FREE!)
The Anna Maria Island Trolley is a great way to tour the island, transporting you to all your favorite restaurants and shops.
Daily service on the trolley runs from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every 20 minutes from the Anna Maria City Pier on the north to Coquina Beach (in the city of Bradenton Beach) on the south. Trolley Stops are two to four blocks apart along the route and there are three main stops: Anna Maria City Pier, Manatee Public Beach, and Coquina Beach where the trolley will wait approximately three minutes before continuing the route. In the city of Holmes Beach the Trolley runs north on Marina Drive and South on Gulf Drive. All Anna Maria Island Trolley stops have a green sign with a trolley on it and most of them have a covered seating area while you wait. Trolleys offer both air conditioned and open-air seating.

Bean Point Beach (FREE!)
Bean Point is the very northern tip of Anna Maria Island. It is a local secret that provides breathtaking views of the sunset on a pristine, and serene beach. Local Tip: parking regulations are strictly enforced on Anna Maria Island. If it says No Parking, don’t do it, unless you want a ticket. lso, be aware of your tires. In Anna Maria your tires need to be off the street when parking roadside.

Pier Fishing
One of the things to be sure you see when visiting historical Anna Maria Island are the fishing piers. Whether you actual want to hold a fishing rod and reel, or just take in the local residence, the fishing piers on Anna Maria Island are a must see.
Anna Maria Island offers three fishing piers. No license is required to fish from the piers which makes it a fun, lazy-day pastime for residents and island guests alike.
