Hey, if you have a moment... let me tell a little about myself. I was the first born of twins, birthed in Houston, Texas on Sept. 2, 1951. Can’t really claim being a Texan cause we moved to New Jersey shortly after that, then on to Florida where I grew up. My dad worked in the space program on the space coast, also called Brevard County. I graduated from Satellite High School, of course, then went to Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida. During my time there I worked in a new art form called airbrushed t-shirts, that’s right, squirtin’ shirts in Gatlinburg, Tn. I graduated from Ringling in 1979 then long story shortened I painted shirts for the next eleven summers, it was fun, profitable, and I became one with the airbrush. As with all things change was in the air, I started collaborating on artwork with my former wife, and sold it at outdoor art shows, that took up the next 20 years. Well once again the ole change bug came along and here I sit, a single guy, kids all grown, casting about for something to do... Hey what about that ole airbrush? Come to find out things have moved along quite nicely in the airbrush world, the guns are better, paints are better, and after a little practice I can still use the lil’ squirters. I started doing portraits of pets just for fun and friends, come to find out I am pretty good at it, people like them, and I think you would too. Keep an old airbrush artist off the streets, I would love to do your pets portrait, I make a little money, you get a fine art memorial of a good buddy, it’s a win, win situation. Hope to hear from you soon.
