Jamaica!

We just got back from a trip (September '99) to Boscobel Beach near Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We (like most tourists in the area) climbed Dunn's River Falls. Boscobel Beach is one of Superclubs' all-inclusive resorts on the island. We heard lots of reggae and calypso music. Melissa even got up on stage for the calypso dance contest. We had a blast building the biggest sand castle on the beach.

The best part of the trip was, of course, the food. We ate at the resort's 'sit-down' restaurant every night we could. It was much nicer than the buffet (although the buffet was excellent, too). There was a plentiful supply of liquid refreshments to quench your thirst!

The kids had a blast swimming, tie-dying shirts and weaving baskets. (Deb & I tie-dyed and wove baskets, too.) They drank a lot of strawberry-banana milkshakes.
