Attended by over 6,000 people each year, I-CON is a three day festival, designed to encourage literacy, creativity and interest in science and technology through science fiction and its related genres. I-CON is the mother of all science fiction cons. It's so big, it has started to morph into one massive con that does everything (including anime, LARPing, comics, cards, etc.). In short, it's not even really a science fiction convention anymore. But who cares? It's still the largest convention of its kind on the northeast coast. 2006:
