Westmoor Lady in Red

I decided to incorporate the idea of "being stood up for a date" in this shoot. A thousand thoughts can go through your mind while waiting for someone, especially when that someone is important to you. Did they have an accident? Did something else hold them up? Is someone else preventing them from being here? Is there another woman?

Ont the one hand, you desperately hope that they met with no ill fortune. On the other hand, you think to yourself, "If he isn't dead, I am going to kill him myself!"

Right about now, Feodora is wondering where her date is. She is concerned, but not worried yet. She knows that there may be many reasons why someone could be a little late.

Now he is more than a little late. Feodora is more concerned. She hopes that nothing has happened to him.

Now she is getting upset. If he is just late, why did he not call? If he could not get through to her cell phone, he could at least call the cafe and leave a message. They know us both here, and they would surely tell me if he called.

Feodora has called all of his numbers twice. Two of numbers connected to answering machines, one went to a voice mail, and one place has not seen him yet.

She decides to go for a stroll around the area. If he comes by or calls, they will know where to find her. Why does he let me worry like this?

Now Feodora is getting very angry. Why should he be so inconsiderate when he knows how much she will worry? He had better have a good explanation for being late. And if he knows what is good for him, he will not stand me up - AGAIN!!!

Feodora wonders if she should stay here. If he does not show up at all, he may have forgotten. He tends to be absent-minded sometimes. Still, he never deliberately stood her up. He always had a good excuse before. Not the best excuse, mind you, but at least a good one. If she leaves and he does come, he may think that she stood him up. What to do? What to do?

One of the waiters, a young fellow, did get a message from him that he would be late. He went on break right after they got the message and forgot to tell her when he came back. He hurredly told her as soon as he did remember, but only just before her date arrived.

Feodora: Where were you?! I was worried sick about you?

noquiexis: Am I really that late? I called to let you know I would not be here on time!

Feodora: I did not get the message until just before you arrived. What was so important that you would keep me waiting like this?

noquiexis: One of the other models asked to get out of a location assignement. The buyer specifically asked for her, so I had to negotiate a trade - you for her!

Feodora: So why did he want her and not me?

noquiexis: He said that she was more well known for their type of business. I convinced them that it was time to "break out of the mold" and move in a new direction.

Feodora: So what did they say to that?

noquiexis: They said that if you sign on with them, they will want a three-year guaranteed contract. I told them that you were worth more than the other model, and that you would want a bigger share of the cut.

Feodora: So did you tell them that you would pony up the dough?

noquiexis: I started to say that, but they cut me off. Then they said that that would increase the advertising budget only if they could do so without laying anyone off or raising their prices. One of the bean counters growled a bit, the told me, "You sure do drive a hard bargain!" I brought the contract for you to look over. If you like it, we can start shooting today!

Feodora: We can start shooting tomorrow! You owe me dinner and dancing today!

Feodora Verochka Tychovich is a life-sized platinum-cured silicone rubber doll. She was produced by Oleg Bratkov (a gifted sculptor) and his beautiful wife Irina (excellent makeup artist), at Anatomical Doll in Vladivostok, Russia. Feodora has Face 3 and Body 3 of their product line. She has a fully articulated skeleton and can pose in most natural ways that a human can pose. There are 'stops' on the skeleton that prevent her from posing in unnatural ways. This also helps to prevent damage to the silicone.

She is wearing the Red Ruffle Dress, the Shades of Brights necklace and earring set (in White), the Heart of the Crusade Pin, the Scroll Cuff Watch, the Goldtone Marquise Ring, and the Aviator Sunglasses, all from Avon. Her White Stag ballet flats are from Wal Mart. Her wig (from Forever Young) was given to her by Irina at Anatomical Doll.
