Happy Saint Patrick's Day!

The girls wanted to do something other than the red-hair-green-clothes bit for Saint Patrick's Day. So I took them to Ireland for a photo shoot. Here they are at Kilkenny Castle (at irelandseye.com) on the river Nore. Kilkenny is located in the southwest of Ireland, fairly close to Saint George's Channel and the Celtic Sea. Click on the pictures below to see larger images.

Here are the girls in front of the castle. (I do not know who the mother and daughter are.)

Another picture by the fountain.

The castle has a nice sized back yard, too!

The girls just loved the window designs!

The girls have walked all around the castle. By the time they got back to the hotel, they wanted nothing more than dinner and a nap. I half expected them to want a shopping trip in town! They did that after they had their naps!

Castle Auction

from Wikipedia: The Butler family sold the castle to the local Castle Restoration Committee in the middle of the 20th century for £50. Shortly afterward it was handed over to the State, and has since been refurbished and is open to visitors.
