More Odd Shots
I decided to make another page, so that not too many images try to load on one page. For the first page of Odd Shots, look here. Click on any picture to open a larger image in a new window.
I generally plan photo shoots with an intended purpose, but now and then I take a picture or two as the Muse directs. Here are a few odd shots that I have taken recently.
Winter Fun
February 11, 2012
I got the idea for this from a photo challenge theme.
"How much of the snow do you want me to shovel?"
"I think I will go visit Pennie after I get done. She has a nice, warm fireplace!"
Warming up with coffee
"There is nothing like a cup of hot coffee to warm you up!"
"I wonder if noq bought any more Paczki. I would love one right now!"
"A Rose is a Rose"
June 5, 2012
I had intended this for the photo challenge, but I was not satisfied with the results. There is a well-established mole colony in the back yard, and the ground is unstable. During the shoot, Feodora tipped over and fell into the rose bush. Still, it is my fault that I placed the doll stand on shaky ground.
Feodora did her part just fine. I could have taken other shots, but I was disappointed that I let her fall. Her right arm and hand got quite a few thorns and scratches. The Sil-Poxy had partially cured in the tube, and I had to cut it open to get enough agent for the repairs. Luckily there was enough left to finish.
A Taste of Home
June 22, 2012
Feodora is watching a video of Russian Folk Song and Dance. I picked up this video at the library, and I thought she might like to see these pictures from the old country.
Harry Dresden Fan
July 2, 2012
I recently became a fan of Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files book series. Feodora picked one up, and now she wants the whole set!
The main character, Harry Dresden, is a big fan of Burger King.
So not only does she have my lunch, but she is also reading a book that I have not finished, in my favorite chair! Egad!
Island Adventure
July 27, 2012
I put Feodora back in the seafoam green set for a few days, but we did not go anywhere.
She bought herself a new summer dress, and wanted to show that off, too.
Maxin' and Relaxin'
August 9, 2012
These are Feodora's new Tribal Print Maxi dresses.
These dresses came from Body Central. (They went out of business in January of 2015.)
The pictures on my monitor were taken at the Toledo Zoo.
Feodora with Bob and Fup
September 29, 2012
"Bob the Skull" is a character in The Dresden Files series of novels and short stories. He is a 'spirit of intellect' that was trapped in a skull. He helps Harry Dresden, a wizard and Private Investigator. Although he has no body, he is a bit of a sex fiend. "Fup Duck" was inspired by comments on the forum for that series.
I found an inexpensive skull ($3.97) amongst the Halloween goodies at Wal Mart. The 'spirit eyes' were made with a felt-tipped marker on scrap paper. I attached them with double-stick tape.
Bob the Skull and Fup Duck get a little personal attention from Feodora. Click on images for larger pictures.
Bob: "Noq! Who's the babe! You been holdin' out on me, man!"
Feodora: "There, there little spirit! No need to drool!"
Bob: "Yeah, baby! OW! Keep on doing that!"
Feodora in blue
October 6, 2012
This top is a few years old, but it works well for an Autumn shoot.
Fashion Police
The hat and badges came with an outfit that I bought for Dollstock 2012. The Western sytle black shirt was purchased separately.
November Sunset
November 7, 2012
I took a few odd shots of Feodora in the rapidly changing light of an early November sunset. Here are a couple of those pictures.
Time for a change
November 12, 2012
The theme for the Our Doll Community November 2012 photo challenge is "Change". So what should you expect from a fashion model? Click on pictures for larger images.
Which outfit should I change into next?
The Island Vibe dress, or the print?
I do not know which one to choose!
Feodora's other photo shoots can be accessed from this index.
Feodora Verochka Tychovich is a life-sized platinum-cured silicone rubber doll. She was produced by Oleg Bratkov (a gifted sculptor) and his beautiful wife Irina (excellent makeup artist), at Anatomical Doll in Vladivostok, Russia. Feodora has Face 3 and Body 3 of their product line. She has a fully articulated skeleton and can pose in most natural ways that a human can pose. There are 'stops' on the skeleton that prevent her from posing in unnatural ways. This also helps to prevent damage to the silicone.
