Edmund Sonador

Edmund Sonador is a pseudonym (pen name). I chose this name when I started my novel (Starship) {as yet unfinished} in 1989. The novel is about a twentieth century man (George) who finds himself on a seventeenth century sailing ship (similar to the Cutty Sark) somewhere in the south Pacific Ocean. This ship exists in the present.
At one point George traveled back in time to Spain in 1529 where he meets Noquiexis, a ship's captain in the Spanish fleet.
The songs, "One Perfect Rose" and "End Of September" were intended to be companions to the novel. "One Perfect Rose" was modeled after the Moody Blues' "New Horizons". The song "End Of September" was inspired by J. S. Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 in G Major, Third Movement". "Rainbow's End " was modeled after the music of John Denver. "Toca A Mi Puerta" [Knock On My Door] is similar to the Mariachi music of Herb Alpert & the Tijuana Brass and Julius Wechter's Baja Marimba Band.
