Back Together
My '67 Buick Special is reassembled in 1990.
Here are some engine compartment pics.

This car never came with this engine or radiator, so the upper radiator hose had to be fabricated.  A piece of pipe, a pair of hose clamps, and a couple of strategically cut hoses from something else worked well.

This shot gives a good view of the induction.  The Offenhauser manifold is topped by a heat shield, and a one inch high four hole phenolic spacer.
This not only aids flow, but it keeps the carb insulated from the engine heat.
I love that mechanical throttle linkage.....sure beats a cable!

Yes, that is oil on the valve cover.  Vapor residue from the breather cap.
Nothing's perfect......

Now fully visible is the dual feed fuel line with filter, pressure gauge and regulator.  I have since disposed of the regulator and swapped out the Holley 750 vacuum secondary carb shown here in favor of an 800 double pumper mechanical carb.  It runs better, but man, those Holley carbs don't last long.
