land was transferred from Moses Dillon to Betsy McLouth in 1828
(presumably her brother?) as recorded in the Ontario County New York deed
index, book 47, page 369. Interesting that it wasn't Oliver that received
the land. So perhaps this was land she received from the estate of
her father who had died in 1827.

Augustus is listed as a farmer;
interestingly, Emily is listed as age 24 and attended school within the
year - I wonder if she was a schoolteacher.
