18 He should be listed somewhere on the 1790 census.  I have not located his oldest son Nathaniel in the 1790 census either, so I suspect Nathaniel and his family is living with his father William. www.ancestry.com I found a possible candidate for William Gallop census record.  It was in the Stephentown, Albany County, New York census, page 291.   William's daughter Esther Cummings is listed on page 290 and there is a Rufus Gallop on page 292, relationship unknown.
