Artist's Statement: This work is built of cloth fragments that have been in the woods for many months. Hollow treees and creek beds were among the sites where the cloth was exposed to the elements. The unearthed pieces were then linked through stitching to an invented ground cloth of velvet and viscose twill to suggest a sense of map and contours of place.
