Artist's Statement: There is a constant struggle in the lives of many women to balance the time spend on mundane work with that for "real" work which gives a deeper feeling of accomplishment. Who is The Boss? Who tells us what needs to be done? Are we supposed to be grateful for time-saving appliances? Technology frees us from the mundane, but it can trap us into hectic, senseless lives.
