Garnierite
This vibrant green garnierite (nickel silicate) is from down under -
MEA Mine, Kouaoua, New Caledonia. The unreal color is real! There are
parallel striations in places, however I suspect they are from abradive,
rather than crystalline, origins. Though this one's not, some of the
specimens are weakly magnetic. Specimen size is around 12 cm max.
