Calcite

This nice vug of scalenohedral calcite crystals comes from my home town- Columbia, TN ! The vug is actually a fossil cavity from a nautiloid.
Specimen is a large cabinet, but crystal is 2 cm.

Another calcite specimen from Columbia Tennessee. This one is a honey colored scalenahedron with rhombohedral tip. The form is excellent. I am holding it on a cluster of pink dolomite crystals on the base.
