Windows Shortcut Tip for Your Custom Screen Saver
This will enable the screen saver to run like a slide show.
Please download this Ginger Screen Saver before trying the tips so you can follow the examples:  gin_setup.exe

Download this sample of just a few wedding photographs to get
an idea of the Custom Screen Saver...

  1. It's easy.... just click on the sample1.exe link above.
  2. Save it to a location that you can find on your hard drive.
  3. It takes about 4 minutes to download.
  4. Click on the sample1.exe that was downloaded to the hard drive to install and run the program.
  5. Click on SETUP.
  6. When setup has completed just click on ok.
  7. Then click on Preview.
  8. After previewing the screen saver you can change the effects in the settings menu.
  9. The wallpaper is a nice effect also.
  10. When you are finished you can change your screen saver back to the previous setting.
  11. Click on the right side of the mouse on the desktop...be sure you are not on a icon.
  12. Then click properties from the left mouse button.
  13. If you don't know what you had for the background and wallpaper none will give the windows default.


Note: The Setup also places a Icon with other programs. After installing :
Click on Start..then Programs and you should see Sample or Ginger if those
files were downloaded and the setup.exe was ran!!

After setup is complete and OK is clicked this is the image that will be seen.
If Preview is clicked the sample starts...Note if the mouse moves the
preview will stop.

Click on Settings and the window below will be seen. Default for the
Screen Saver, Minutes before Screen Saver starts, Seconds of display
for each frame, Ect. Note: This would be the place to check off
of the sound also........IF it's unwanted

Below is effects for Wallpaper, this window appears  when
wallpaper is clicked from the setting menu.

Now if you put in a password and forget it I can't help
you. Its always a good idea to start a file listing all your
passwords.

Effects controls the different effects as each frame starts.
There is 3 settings for duration and this is the time it takes
for the frame to make it's transition!
The effects can be changed by clicking on the ones that's
not desired. Experiment with these to see the ones that
appeal to you!!!
