Sergeant, U.S. Army Missing in Action - Presumed Dead
Died September 18, 1950 in Korea.
Sergeant Doughty was a member of Company G, 7th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was listed as Missing in Action while fighting the enemy in South Korea on September 18, 1950. He was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. For his leadership and valor, Sergeant Doughty was awarded the Bronze Star with Oak Leaf Cluster and the Purple Heart.

I Will Always Remember My Uncle
He was born September 10, 1925 in Cooke County, Texas, he was killed in Korea while missing.
He was the son of Herbert Marvin Doughty, and Lydia Bell (Clifton) Doughty.
He enlisted in the Army, while living with my Mother Lora Dale (Doughty) Mosley in Eddy County, Artesia New Mexico
