Phil built the Revell 1/24 scale Shelby GT350R to depict the actual car that he used to compete in SCAA races at tracks in the Northeast, including Watkins Glen, Mid Ohio, Nelson Ledges, and Summit Point.

The kit was augmented with a scratch made roll cage along with straps and belts, while Apoxie Sculpt was used to create the fender flares.   Everything was painted with Model Master enamels, and the number and name decals were created on a computer, and printed on clear decal film.   Phil completed the project with a scratch built a trailer, like the one he used to haul his car from track to track.
