Long known for his in-depth 1/32-scale aircraft projects, Jerry Wesolowski dived into the Combat Models
Vacuform RF-101 kit. He said that although there were the typical Vacuform challenges, the overall
shape was accurate. Since it was a "vac" kit Jerry scratch built the landing gear, cockpit, tail
wings, and even the boarding ladder. The kit was painted with Tamiya paints, and Jerry drew the
panel lines with his airbrush. The decals were sourced from the scrap box, while references for
the build came from the Squadron "Voodoo" book written by Lou Drendel, and the Internet.
