The Sarge says that if you get a little tense with plastic kits that don't quite fit, than
this kit is not the walk in the park you are looking for! Seriously, as with any full
resin kit, the challenges of getting things square or lined-up can be serious. Don says
that the good points of this build included a low parts count, and relatively easy cleanup of the
resin parts, but this was by no means an easy kit. The wheels and axles required a lot of
work, and getting those body sections to square-up was tough. Don ended up drilling holes
in the wheels and axles, and used wire rods to attach them.
Don commented that the M520 feature in the popular Tankograd Gazette proved very helpful. The
kit was painted with Testors paints, while the decals were described as "curled up & shattered.
To finish it up, a wash was applied to the entire vehicle. The Sarge says that building this
kit brought back fond memories of seeing the "Goer" in Germany.
