We acquired "Alex"  as a 3 year old. She was given up as "not showable" , but we saw a hidden spark of intelligence & beauty. In just 1 years time, "Alex" was not only showing, but winning over some of the top dogs in her time! Her record proves her ability, with her top honor winning Best in Show at the 2000 UKC-UBSDA National Specialty !!! "Alex" is also a member of the elite AKC Champion & group placing gray Tervuren. We co-owned "Alex" with Sandcastle Belgians.

June 5th, 2008 - When Alex came to us when she was 3 years old, I quickly knew I had found a soul mate, a kindred spirit. For me she was not the shy, scared dog that she once was; she quickly bloomed into a dog with a wonderful heart & even became a National Specialty winner. She kept the household in line and protected her domain from strangers from atop her perch on the stairs. I will miss her beautiful gray fur running through my fingers.  Alex I will forever miss you...
