Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament

Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament is "an adventure unlike anything you have experienced before or anything you will experience after". Be spirited back in time to a medieval castle, where nobles and courtiers have gathered for a great feast after the long war.

His majesty, the Spanish king, has invited six of the most noble knights of the realm to compete in a tournament of games, jousting, and hand-to-hand combat. Only one knight shall be victorious and become the personal champion to the King.

"An adventure unlike anything you have experienced before"

Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament features one of the rarest breeds of horses in the world -- the Spanish Andalusian. The horses are trained in the style known as Spanish High School, and are chosen these Andalusians because of their flash, fire and beauty. Training these fabulous horses for use is a process that takes many years of dedication and devotion. For this reason, the horses in the show are from a 241-acre ranch in Sanger Texas, where they are bred, raised and trained. This makes Medieval Times the proud owner of the largest number of Andalusian horses in North America.

As you cheer the Black & White knight, a four course dinner will be served which includes:

  • A piping hot bowl of fresh vegetable soup filled to the brim with healthy ingredients.
  • A hearty herb-roasted chicken cooked to perfection by our Master Chef.
  • A succulent spare rib covered in our own medieval barbecue sauce.
  • A tasty baked potato seasoned with fine herbs from our castle gardens.
  • A delicious, fruit-filled pastry from our own castle bakery.
  • Two rounds of beverages with which to wash it all down.

Before or after the feast, Lords and Ladies are encouraged to explore the magnificent castle. The Dungeon is home to many instruments of torture, and is not for the faint of heart. The King & Queen will pose for pictures before, and the knights roam about signing autographs after the tournament. Merchants can be found selling their wares in the castle, inluding weapons, favors, goblets, miniatures, and much more.
