Alan's Amy Grant Christmas Page

I went to Amy's annual Christmas concert in Cincinnati in 1997. This was an exciting concert that sells out every year within 30 minutes of ticket sale openings. As a member of the Friends of Amy fan club, I was able to receive an advance order ticket form and lucked out getting back stage passes. Guests included: Gary Chapman, Michael W. Smith, Vince Gill, Ce Ce Winans, the Nashville Symphony, and the Nashville chorus.

I've been to about 10 Amy concerts, all of them terrific. I was even at one concert near Christmas and she sang several carols - a neat atmosphere singing Christmas carols with Amy. This concert is a departure from Amy's pop concerts, as it has a subdued, even melancholy atmosphere. It was quite an evening.
