A prick

The blade slides deeper
A rent opens
Love pours out
Blackened
Destroyed
The blade slices deeper
Tearing the heart
Ripping it apart

Poured out
Drawn out
Taken away

The wound heals not
It bleeds forever
Blackened
Scarred
Torn
The life squeezed out of it
Some try to heal it
Some try to bring life to it
All bring fresh wounds
Slicing it further
Scarring it worse
Charred and scarred
Blackened beyond belief

My heart bleeds
As does my love
Never to be healed
Never to feel again
My heart was yours
