After 30 years of hard work, George Miller, Jr. of the Toledo Handball Club is finally recognized for his contribution to handball. At the 53rd annual National 3-Wall Tournament in Maumee, Ohio, George accepted the R.W. Kendler award for his unselfish promotion and organization of the Toledo Handball Club.
Many individuals wrote letters of recommendation to the nominating committee and they voted unanimously to give George this award. All of the letters written stated that George is the "driving force" behind the success of hosting the National 3-Wall tournament and all THC local tournaments.
Without George and his leadership, the Toledo Handball Club would not be the fine organization that it is.
