Here is an update on the domestic status of a couple of our members: Stacy Mulder is now Stacy Baker. Congratulations to Stacy and Bob.
In another development, Lisa and Neil Thompson are expecting their first child in December. Lisa made the announcement during our Sertoma outing a Hoosier Park on June 25th. Congratulations to Lisa and Neil on this happy occasion.

*Thursday, July 9th: 6:30 p.m. Regular dinner meeting at the First Presbyterian Church. 230 W. 9th Street. Speaker will be our own Dick Bowman, who will conduct a tour of the Civil War display at the Madison County Historical Society. We'll have dinner, and then move to the Historical Society Building.

War Display. Indiana regiments were engaged in every principle battle of the war. From the earliest days of the conflict, during the bombardment of Fort Sumter, where Hoosier Jefferson C. Davis served as a lieutenant, to the last engagement at Palmetto Ranch, Texas, where a soldier from the 34th Indiana became one of the last casualties of the war, Indiana men gave their blood and sweat to preserve this country and her freedoms. Learn more about the history and Indiana's contribution to the preservation of the Union in the 1860's.
We'll have dinner first at the church and then move the meeting to the Historical Society building downtown. Here is the address:
