Freedom Essay (Continued)

It was good to see all the members who came to see the presentation on the South American Tour. We really had a good time on this trip through the Panama Canal and down the west coast of South America.
We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.

Race meeting at Don Hartman's. Address: 4353 Alexandria Pike. 6:30 p.m. We hope to have a site for the race by this time. 

The committee has read the essays and chosen the three who will be given awards. Please join us at the banquet and see if you don't agree that these young people are as thoughtful and insightful as their predecessors.
We look forward to seeing all members and our guests for this special occasion. Come and hear these kids read their essays and see if you agree on the which is the best entry of the Sertoma Freedom Essay Contest for 2009.

selection has been made and the plaque is already inscribed. Attend the Freedom banquet to see whose name is on the plague.
There will be an $8.00 charge for this special meal prepared and catered by Terry Nunley. We will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the downstairs meeting rooms of the First Presbyterian Church, 230 W. 9th Street. Guests are welcome for this meeting.

We would like to thank Don Hartman for opening his home and providing a wonderful tenderloin meal which he prepared for our club on Thursday January 22nd.
The occasion was the second planning meeting for our annual kart race which will be held May 9th and 10th this year. The site is still to be announced.
