Great Turnout for
Christmas Banquet
We usually start the new year with an appropriate New Year's photo but this year we had such a great turnout for the Christmas Banquet that we decided to take a picture of our group and publish it. Steve Branch took the picture. That's why he isn't in it.
We had a great time celebrating the season and the fellowship of wonderful friends. Terry Nunley catered the meal and, as usual, it was superb.
Our entertainment for the evening was the "Clarinet Playing Friends". They are pictured on the following page. They are a group of folks who get together for the joy of making music and Christmas music lends itself (Continued on page 2)

See the Grand Canyon with Denny and Nan
We took a thousand pictures. That is not an exaggeration. We were so awestruck that we couldn't help ourselves. We had heard it said that the Grand Canyon is just a big hole in the ground, and it is, but it will take your breath away when you first see it. If you count both, Nan and I took more than a thousand photos. But you don't have to worry; We will only show you a few of them this Thursday evening after dinner at the church.
