Home.
The Home Page serves as the "front door" to the web site. It contains the lamb logo, web site title "A 21st Century Puritanism" and the web site menu. See the topics below for an explanation of the pages linked to by the menu.

The lamb logo is a reminder that:

(1)
Jesus is the Lamb of God who was sacrificed for our sins (John 1:29, 36), and
(2)
He is the Good Shepherd who gave His life for us, His sheep (John 10:11, 14-15).
It also suggests the pastoral setting of rural England in the time of the Puritans.

Welcome.
The Welcome Page gives general information about the author and the web site. You are probably viewing this Site Map from the Welcome Page.

Articles.
The Articles Page lists the articles which are maintained at this web site. Many of the articles have been written by me, but there are also some of my favorite articles by Spurgeon, Edwards, and others.

Feel free to copy or distribute any of the articles on the Articles page--I do not copyright my own articles, and the others are in the public domain as well.

Books.
The Books Page page provides a listing of books which I recommend, along with a brief description of each. I confess that I have not read every book in the list from cover to cover. Still, I have read at least parts of most of them. I have read all the books by John Piper cited in the list, and heartily recommend each one. A list of sources appears at the top of the Index Frame, in case you are interested in checking prices or availability.

Conferences.
The Conferences Page provides a monthly listing of conferences by Calvinistic organizations and speakers, such as R. C. Sproul, John Armstrong, John Piper, S. Lewis Johnson, John Reisinger, James Boice, the Southern Baptist Founders Conference, and others. This information was gleaned primarily from the websites of the organizations sponsoring the conferences. Each listed conference contains one or more links to the pages where the conference information was found.

Hymns.
The Hymns Page lists numerous traditional hymns and Psalms, along with a few new ones. When you select a hymn, the text of the hymn appears in the Main Frame (on the right side of the screen). If you have a sound card and speakers installed on your system, you can listen to the hymn by operating the embedded midi-player in the top right corner, or by clicking the name of the tune.

If you would like to continue listening to a hymn while browsing another part of the website, click one of the links on the "Listen at:" menu at the bottom of the Title Frame.

My sources for the text and music of the hymns include the Cyber Hymnal, "Hymns for the Family of God" (Nashville: Paragon Associates, Inc., 1976), "The Trinity Hymnal" (Suwanee, GA: Great Commission Publishers, 1990), "Easy to Play Hymns" (Suffolk, England: Kevin Mayhew, Ltd., 1994) and "Isaac Watts: Songs from the Psalms In the light of the New Testament", edited by N. A. Woychuk (St. Louis: SMF Press, 1981).

I am deeply indebted to the Cyber Hymnal website for some of the midi files. However, most of the files were entered by hand using the Noteworthy Composer application, available from Noteworthy Software, Inc.

Library.
The Library Page provides links to articles, mostly on other websites. It is indexed by subject. The alphabet along the bottom of the Title Frame can be used to position the Index Frame to the topics which begin with a given letter.

The inclusion of an article in my library list does not constitute a full endorsement of all that is said in the article, nor of the author. I have included these articles because I believe them to be of significant value. If you find an article which you feel may be incompatible with the stated purpose and doctrines of this web site, please let me know.

Many of the articles linked on the Library Page are copyrighted by their respective authors, and you should obtain permission from the author before copying any of them.

Links.
The Links Page provides a list of links to other recommended websites. Calvinistic websites are emphasized, but you will also find links to Mission organizations, Christian Publishers and Booksellers, Cult Resources, etc. The links themselves are divided into five separate pages, to reduce the time and memory required to load a page.

The inclusion of a link does not constitute a full endorsement of the web site, nor the organization or individuals represented by that web site. I do believe that the sites listed have significant value. Let me know of any sites which you feel do not belong, along with an explanation. Feel free to submit new sites for inclusion.

Search.
The Search Page lets you specify words to search for at my website. You can also search other Calvinistic web sites by clicking the "Search Other Websites" link at the bottom of the Search page. My website uses the Geneva search engine provided by Founders Online.

Comments?
You are invited to contact me via e-mail with any comments you may have. Just click the "Comments?" link on the Navigation Bar, or on any of the menus where it appears (usually at the bottom of a page). Encouragement from like-minded brothers is always appreciated.

Please contact me if you experience any problems, such as invalid links, missing graphics or midi files, external web pages which come up in a frame instead of the whole screen, etc. Also, let me know of any typographical errors, spelling errors, or inaccurate information. I will try to take immediate action to remedy any problems you find.

Navigation Bar.
The Navigation Bar appears along the top of each page (except the Home Page). It provides a ready menu so that you can easily jump to any of the web site pages.

Also, most of the pages which come up in the Main Frame (the right-hand section of the screen) will have a navigation menu at the bottom (just as this page does!). This is primarily for those using browsers which do not support frames. The main exception to this rule is that the hymn pages do not have a bottom menu.

Index Frame.
Each page (with the exception of the Home Page and the Search Pages) has a frame along the left side of the screen which lets you select what will appear in the Main Frame (on the right side of the screen). For example, on the Hymns Page, the Index Frame lists the hymns. When you select a hymn from the Index, the corresponding hymn page appears in the Main Frame on the right side of the screen.
