Dollstock 2010

Dollstock (named after Woodstock) is the name of an annual meeting of life-sized doll owners and others interested in the hobby. Like any other collector's hobby show, we get together to meet and greet, show off our dolls and their accoutrements, and generally goof off.

Small group shot.

"Doll meets" are fairly common among those of us who live near each other. Other than crossing the US / Canadian border (hard to get a doll across), there is little difference between a doll meet and any other location photo shoot. This meet differs in that most of us travel hundreds of miles to attend.

Monica taught us a new way to play pool.

The meet was awesome. It would have been great even if I had not received Feodora (click here for that story). We laughed so much that it made my diaphram muscles hurt! The 17 dolls outnumbered us, the owners, and the waitresses combined! This was truly an historic meet!

Dottie was out chasing cars. It looks like she caught one!
Jayde wore a hot litle number! She sported a set of vampire fangs, too!

Feodora became an American Citizen. Note the Green Card and the American Flag. She maintains dual citizenship with Russia, and will visit friends and family often. She also modeled a few of the wigs for us.

Jackie brough a few pets with her.

Feodora Verochka Tychovich is a life-sized platinum-cured silicone rubber doll. She was produced by Oleg Bratkov (a gifted sculptor) and his beautiful wife Irina (excellent makeup artist), at Anatomical Doll in Vladivostok, Russia. Feodora has Face 3 and Body 3 of their product line. She has a fully articulated skeleton and can pose in most natural ways that a human can pose. There are 'stops' on the skeleton that prevent her from posing in unnatural ways. This also helps to prevent damage to the silicone. <
