On The Streets
The '67 Buick Special meets the world...

The Buick hangin' out with "the Boys" downtown.

More of the same..............

In the center is the '68 Chrysler 300 convertible that belonged to my pal Jose'.  It sports a 440 c.i.d engine and bucket seats with a console shifter.
On the right is my friend Mike's '65 GTO.  Underneath it's stock exterior lies a monster of a motor.  It's a '64 motor that was found unused in a crate and was someone's spare NASCAR motor.  389 with an .060 overbore, HUGE Isky roller cam, hydraulic roller lifters, fully rollerized rockers (the roller stuff was his addition), and the pistons fit into the combustion chambers like a glove.  He's also running a tri-power set up on it.

Here is the Buick (and Mike's GTO) at "Pontiac Day" at Raceway Park.  All day long as we watched from far away in the stands, people would walk past my car, do a double take, then walk back and try to figure out what it was and why it was at a Pontiac show.  That is what these folks are doing.  This is shot from way back in the stands and blown up from a centimeter sized chunk of a 4"x 6" photo.  Hasn't anyone ever seen a Pontiac powered Buick before?
