My '74 Monte Carlo
Another old favorite.  This car was purchased (in stock form) from a local woman with low miles for the sum of $600.  It had a 350 small block, 2.73 gears, turbo 350 auto, and a beautiful camel pseudo leather interior with swiveling bucket seats and console mounted shifter.  I had always wanted a pimp car with some attitude, and this one was just that.  Just quick enough not to be embarrassed, smooth comfortable ride and excellent handling for any car, never mind a boat.  Outfitted with 15 x 9.5 aluminum slots on the rear and 15 x 7's on the front with 60 series performance tires all around, and coil over gas shocks. It outhandled many competitors on the back roads and left many behind on the highway too.  My only complaint at all with the car was the dual exhaust never was loud enough......it really could have used glasspacks.
It was the best winter car I ever had.

Here it is shortly after I bought it.  The suspension is done and the duals are on, but I had yet to aquire the matching front rims and the good tires.

I always loved the massive nose and long hood.

And another nice picture....I miss this car!!!!

Ahhh.....and lastly, a picture of the car after the guy I sold it to was through with it and had sold it to another guy.  What did I sell it for in the first place?  The thing STILL looked good!!  It still had the tires I sold it with!
