My '71 Pontiac LeMans

This car was my most recent classic daily driver.
I stumbled upon it quite by accident........it was in the garage of the house we were buying the day we looked at it.  At the time, all I had left was the hot rod Buick, and I anticipated the need for something more practical to move all my stuff with and for traveling around once moved in, as we were kind of isolated from things (of interest to me anyway) in Waterbury.
It's the closest thing to a family car I've had (4 doors, all stock except the wheels, the 60 series Hoosier tires all around, and the nice rumbley dual exhaust) but it's still cool to drive and gets a lot of favorable comments.
Drive train: 350 cubic inch (same block as all Pontiac V-8's.....even the 455), turbo 350 auto transmission, and 2.56:1 (highway gears) limited slip posi rear.

As it was....the day I bought it.

From the front.  Not my favorite year, but still pretty cool.

From the back.  Sharp eyes will detect the funky horizontal loop antenna and the chrome exhaust tips.

Not the clearest picture, but it does show the cool "no post" design.......when the windows are down, it ALMOST could pass for a 2 door if the door handles weren't there.
