Biography Susan Dunn attended Penn State University, where she majored in Music Education and Communications. Susan has been playing piano for over 20 years. She was the in-store pianist at Nordstrom for almost 2 years and won 4 customer service awards for excellence. She has performed in over 30 musicals, and has played piano in many Assisted Living, Nursing homes, and retirement communities throughout the tri-state region. She has been featured in several magazines, newspapers, radio stations and has performed on TV in Atlantic City, NJ. She also enjoys playing for corporate events, holiday private parties, and weddings. Susan has a unique style and perfect touch for almost any occasion. She has a nearly unlimited repertoire and is also a lovely vocalist. Susan can perform for your entire wedding ceremony from church organ, delicate but lively cocktail hour, elegant background dinner reception, and entertaining dance music for after dessert. She enjoys performing for Christmas functions, corporate events big or small, and has many excellent references. Susan has been director of Recreation Therapy at several Greater Philadelphia area nursing homes and also has taught Musical Theater, acting, and improvisation to children of all ages for several excellent theater programs in and around the Philadelphia, PA area. Her hobbies include: Composing, singing, gourmet cooking, traveling, vacationing at the beach, photography, drawing and painting, spending time with family and friends, and performing for others. Musical favorites include: Pat Metheny and Lyle Mays, Tim Janis, The Secret Garden, Karen Carpenter, Fleetwood Mac, Billy and Elton, & Diana Krall. Susan also performs on occasion with her husband who is a clarinetist. Available for Any Occasion!
