Theater Works:

After reviewing many student monologue and scene books, there seemed to be a lot lacking in the works. Either the subject matter was too risquˇ or inappropriate for the ages I was teaching, or it was dated, dull, or corny. I wrote most of the material I teach with, after talking with children and teenaged students, I learned a lot about their lifestyles, school conflicts, romance, and struggles. Things havenÕt changed much since I was younger, but I decided to write the scenes and monologues knowing they came from real life situations from either myself or my students. There are age appropriate pieces that are ready for publishing. I also have entered several pieces in scene contests.

Susan has also written a full-length musical version of Cinderella, with her own original dialogue, music, and lyrics.  If you are a theater looking for a new twist on this heartwarming story, please contact Susan at This Link

There is also a beautiful patriotic Musical I wrote called Sweet Land of Liberty,  great for kids and teens. ItÕs a mixture of great patriotic tunes, poignant songs such as Give me Your Tired Your Poor, a learning experience for those getting introduced to history as well as a fun filled show for the entire family.  With the daily threats we continue to live with, itÕs a nice piece to work with, suitable for all ages, and loaded with lots of fun ensemble work. Click here if you would be interested in using this piece for your next show.
