Chapter 28, New Albany, Indiana

Chapter 42, Floyds Knobs, Indiana

Hello and Welcome!

The American Legion Riders are members of the American Legion who are also motorcycle enthusiasts. They can be found participating in parades, partaking in motorcycling events, and supporting the communities in which they live, work, and play. Members of the ALR come from the Legion, the Legion Auxiliary, and the Sons of the American Legion. The American Legion Riders were formed:
to participate in parades and other ceremonies that are in keeping with the aims and purposes of the American Legion...
to promote motorcycle safety programs and to provide a social atmosphere for American Legion members who share the same interest...
to use our association to promote and support programs of the American Legion.
The American Legion Riders is not an M/C (motorcycle club), and does not practice M/C rules or regulations. The American Legion Riders is family-oriented, just like its parent organization: the American Legion.
RIDERS CREED: We, your American Legion Riders,
ride for God and country, the American Legion family
and allied veterans everywhere. Protect those who protect us. Amen.

Support for Veterans Offered by The Indiana American Legion Riders:
As a public service for veterans and their families, the American Legion Riders will support any funerals, homecomings, deployments, or reunions for veterans by providing motorcycle escorts and American Flag lines.

Requests for funeral support must come from the veteran's family, usually coordinated through the Funeral Director.

Other requests can be made by any civilian or military organization for our support to honor veterans.

If you would like our support for any veteran's event, please contact any of the American Legion Riders listed below.

Also, if you are interested in helping the American Legion Riders by participating, we welcome you. You do not have to be a member of the American Legion Riders. We're looking for patriots and welcome all who wish to help us honor veterans. Please contact any of the American Legion Riders listed below for you to be added to our group email notification list for pending events.

There are no dues or meetings required for volunteers.
