2004 Nevada/California Journey from Texas to Introduce My Father to My Sons and Grandsons

In early 2004, I found my sons after twenty years.  Now, it happens that in 1992 I had found my biological father Bern Thames.  It was our first meeting since my birth 43 years prior.  The Internet wasn't in widespread use at the time, but miracles still happen. 

I found my father and I found my sons.  So, in the summer of 2004 I drove Bern out to Las Vegas, where Jack and his sons were; then to San Diego, where Tommy was with Suwit and Somkid caring for their mother. 

last pic - Jomnong Butrsuntiah Thames 1944-2005Besides the closure of having my father meet my sons, there was closure with the ex 20 years after the divorce.  She passed over in 2005. 

Tommy and his brothers still live in San Diego.  Jack and his family are still in Las Vegas.
