I created this list based mainly on DBM list 6, book two. I based it on the rules for converting DBM armies to DBA (see page 22 of DBA). It was created mainly to serve in our Mithradatic War Campaign (88 BC).

Neohittite 1200 BC - 732 BC
This list represents the small independent city states formed after the breakup of the Hittite empire, located mainly in Paliestine and N. Syria.

5xHCh or LCh, 1x3Cv, 2x4Sp, 1x4Sp or 2Ps, 2x2Ps, 1x3Cm or 2Ps (Arab).

Mannean
Representing a race originating from the Medes.

Urartian Kingdom 835 BC - 620 BC
This list represents the formation of several smaller states in the region of East Anatolia by Sardur I as a result to continual attacks from Assyrians. This Kingdom (also known as the Kingdom of Van) was later destroyed by the Scythians (610 BC), and absorbed in to the Median empire (610 BC).

Aramean Syrian 1200 BC - 732 BC
This is the army which fought against the Hebrew King David, as well as many other nations in the region.

Cypriot
This army represents Cypriot's pre-hoplite age. The army was more influenced by the NeoAssyrians durring the time period of this list.

Egyptian Revolt
This army represents the time period when the Egyptians fought continously against its Persian oppressers, before being conqured by the Macedonians under Alaxander the Great.

2x3Cv or 2Lh, 5x4Sp, 1x4Sp (Hoplite), 1x4Bw, 1x3Aux (Marines), 2x2Ps.

Phyrgian 1200 BC - 695 BC
Originaly of Thracian blood, their rule extended as far as th Cicilian plain, east of the Euphrates and west of the Aegean. At its capitol city of Gordium, Alexander the Great cut the famous 'Gordian Knot'.

Arazawan 1500 BC - 1000 BC
A mix of minor states occupying the SW. portian of Anatolia. Was conqured by the Hittites and provided troops to them (as at the battle of Kadesh).

Old Elamite
The early Elamite's (see DBA 18b list). Used to represent the army in earlier times.

Martu/Guti/Lullubi/Early Hurrian
The Martu represent the Amorites, originating in modern Syria. Guti/Lullubi represent the early barbarian raiding tribes from the Zagros mountains. The Hurrians represent the nomadic people before the arrival of the Aryan Mittanni.

Spartican Slave Revolt 74 BC - 71 BC
This list is based on
Doug Kendricks' version (based on the DBM list), which I fully agree/play with (and thats why it's here).

1x2Ps (Shepherds/Herdsmen), 4x4Bd (Gladiators/well equiped), 6x3Aux (Ex-slaves/poorly equiped), 1x3Wb (Gauls/Germans) or 3Cv (Gauls/Germans/other slaves)
E: 59.

Here is an alternate list designed by the authors of DBA. (actually mine would be the alternative :)
