Inshield Die & Stamping Company was established in 1919 and is the oldest metal stamping company in Toledo.  It has been in its current location since 1948.  In early 2006, we lost our major customer and were unable to continue operations.  The facilities are for sale.

Location and real estate:

The building is approximately 35,000 square feet on 4.8 acres with room to expand.  We are located one block from the intersection of I-75 and I-280, directly in front of the new Jeep plant.  The plant entrance is less than one-quarter mile from the freeway.  This web site has some basic real estate information and a link to the county web site.  The county web site includes aerial photograph of the building and surrounding area.

Press and tool room equipment:

We have 15 Minster presses (largest 500 ton), parts washing systems, material handling equipment and a very well equipped tool room.  A detailed equipment list is on this site.

We have posted some pictures of the facilities in order to give you a visual image to accompany the descriptions.  There is also sketch of the plant layout.

Plan for sale of facilities:

At this time, we believe the value of the facilities are maximized by leaving all equipment in place while we search for someone looking to perform stamping operations in this location.  If we are unable to locate that buyer, we will then begin to sell individual pieces of equipment and/or the real estate.
