This is a map of the journey. We started in Los Angeles, CA and drove to Toledo, OH. 2,440 miles total.

Before we left LA we decided to have a fun weekend. Here we are at the Universal City Walk with Spookies niece. The whole family went to see Star Wars for entertainment that afternoon and we followed that with dinner at the Marvel Comics Restaurant.

Here is Spookie with the Canary Yellow Mustang GT. It was getting a hitch installed so we could pull a little trailer. What a day this was! Screw in the tire, then the hitch they ordered wasn't right.. then once they had the correct one.. the drill didn't want to go through the frame, and they weren't even supposed to have to drill at all! :O

The GRAND Canyon was the first stop out of LA. It was both breath taking and magestic. The next few pics are from the canyon. We took at least one roll of film here and I think we could have taken more.

Here is Spookie beside a really cool cactus at the Petrified Forest in Arizona. It was about 110 degrees this day!

This pic is of the painted desert. A must see if you are traveling along the old Route 66 across America. It was a 25 mile loop out of the way to visit this and the Petrified Forest but well worth the time.
