THE TRIP TO YELOWSTONE

We were too busy "making miles" and burning gasoline to take many pictures while on the road.  But here are a few high points:

RV at a Lake Superior beach park
Here's our "rig" at a Lake Superior beach park on our way across Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
Sherry and Cookie on the beach
Sherry and Cookie on the beach -- back on the leash (Cookie that is)  when another dog appeared.
ND Badlands overlook
It sure was a long drive across North Dakota.  But a short section of badlands added interest for a few miles.
Roosevelt NP overlook
These two views are from a Roosevelt National Park overlook on I-94.
One more dog walk at a rest stop

White Sulphur Springs, Montana

We arrived at Smith River Conestoga Campground, White Sulpher Springs, MT, on the 5th day.  Our plan was to stay here at our membership campground for four nights to get used to the 5200 foot altitude before moving on to Yellowstone.
