Woodsy is my nickname used on the various chat rooms which I frequently visit.
My real name is David Leedy and I currently live in Michigan, U.S.A. The
nickname woodsy comes from the fact that I am a consulting forester and spend a
lot of time in numerous woodlots throughout northern Indiana. My B.S. degree
is from Purdue University in forest management. I've written some pages on
forestry to let people know what a forester does in the woods.

I spent eight of my earlier years travelling with the Naval Security Group (no
I was never on a ship) and I worked as a civilian in England after leaving the
Navy. Most of my site focuses on Scotland since that is where I met my second
wife and where I long to bide. I also have a fair amount of music information
since I profess to being an amateur musician. Most of the midis on my site are
Celtic but, I have a wide variety in tastes.
