When it comes to keeping appointments, getting there is NOT half the fun. And a half-hour lesson takes an hour-and-a-half out of your day.

That's why we offer lessons in your own home via skype or facetime. ZERO travel time, zero traffic hassles. The convenience and comfort of taking your lessons in your own practice space, without the intrusion of a stranger in your home.

Denny has been teaching since 1995. In addition to teaching he currently performs in a classic rock band, with a country/folk artist, a traditional blues artist, a jump blues/swing band and as a solo acoustic performer, so you can be assured your lessons will be well-grounded in the practical aspects of playing the following:

  • Acoustic guitar
  • Electric guitar
  • Bass guitar
  • Ukulele (soprano/concert)
  • How to read Music
  • Music theory

Lessons are one-on-one, usually scheduled once per week on Monday through Friday. Students have the option of half-hour or 1-hour lessons, in the comfort of their own homes via Skype/Facetime*

So what are you waiting for? The sooner you start, the sooner you'll be playing! There's nothing more satisfying than mastering a new skill, or learning a new song. And it's loads of fun playing those songs!

*So, what is Skype? Skype is a free service that allows video calls via the internet. It works on computers, tablets and smartphones. You can find complete information regarding how it works, hardware requirements and free program downloads here. Facetime is a similar service that works on the Mac/iOS platforms, and comes with Apple devices. So basically, if you have a smartphone, tablet or laptop computer, you've got everything you need. If you have a desktop computer, you need a webcam and speakers hooked up as well.

Skype/Facetime lessons are extremely convenient! No need to allow for travel time or traffic. It doesn't matter where you live at all! You get to use your own amp and pedalboard (if you're an electric guitarist, that is), and you can enjoy the comfort of your own home and rehearsal space. You can even take a lesson over your lunch hour! And parents, you can “monitor” your child's lesson without taking a chunk out of your day. And with email, your lesson materials can be transmitted to you with ease.
