Oh mind exceeding wondrous whom angels cannot define, I was created to be loved by your design. Amazing is this truth to which I cling, Enrapturing my heart and soul with joyful ring. Yet in this mortal frame I know You desire my love toward you to flow; But the adoration of my heart so weak, Your gracious mercy and strength I seek. So may my devotion rise to nobler light, And be felt in heavens celestial bright; And my love for you will be fulfilling When I reach the ecstasy of your eternal dwelling.
