In the summer of '99 Dave spent four weeks working at a feline clinic in Portland, Maine where his Mean ol' Uncle Tom, Mean ol' Aunt Patricia, Mean ol' Cousin Elizabeth (author of the children's classic Racing Through Time on a Flying Machine - GO BUY IT!!), and Mean ol' Dudley the dog currently reside. When Dave's work there was done, Ku flew in and they drove over to Niagara Falls, Ontario to check out this wonder of the world. They actually stayed in a small town near the falls called Niagara-on-the-Lake which is chock full of great Bed & Breakfasts. They spent a day out at the Falls and were most impressed by the Maid of the Mist boat ride which takes you right up to the bottom of the Falls:
