Skydiving with Nick and Friends in Whitewright, Texas !

It was the best thing I have experienced!! Amazing!!!!!!!!! I never felt so close to heaven - I was so scared. And then I was out - 13,500 ft above ground. Hard to breathe, akward and then focused and then balanced. No sound, no good vision, only repetition, everything happening slowly and automatically. And then receiving all good signs from both instructors. 7000, 6000, 5,500 feet. Now I can hear the sound - like flags waving in my ears. Still no good vision - wave goodbye and throw my chute. 1 second, 2 seconds. No parachute! 3 seconds.

Now a loud sound and strong pulling on my shoulders. Look up - the biggest most beautiful thing I ever want to see again! A perfect, square and stable parachute open above my head. A huge wave of relief rushes through me - this is the best sensation I can tell you. Better than landing. Better than getting in the plane. This, to me was the best part - the exact moment of accomplishment. Sailed around looking at small green squares 1 or 2000 feet below.

And looking up - the big beautiful sky all around me. Truly an unbelievable experience. Follow the road back to the airport and land. Right on my butt. But who cares, I'm on the ground. And it never felt so good to be on the ground. I flopped around like a fish screaming and yelling. I could hear Nick yelling too! We just jumped out of a plane and it was awesome!!!!!
