IndexSo you've gotten this far huh?
Well where to start? Why did I even create this page? I hate computers really. I am a 30 something year old electronics fanatic who lives in Toledo Ohio, I fix electronic stuff for my friends and myself every day and enjoy it for the most part, I have never worked for a fast food place (although I did wash dishes one summer for a restaurant). So I have been deprived of the usual corporate "I hate this job and these people" crap, I was a carpet installer for a year or two until I realized that manual labor was not for me, I worked at the local library for 3.5 years as a page, but the real benefit was the collection that I had full access to. Then I had a desk job testing and fixing electronic junk that ranged from industrial robot brains and PID valve controllers to MRI components and diagnostic automotive network devices. That job put me to sleep, not that it was easy or anything I just got burned out. Of course with industry taking a big economic hit I decided that after 2 years without a pay increase and my constant worry as to whether my job would be there from one day to the next, that it may be time for a change. So after 4 or 5 years there I thought that I would try something new. I worked for the local University's chemistry department fixing...you guessed it, electronic stuff. I stayed there for about 2 years until the politics and work environment got the best of me. Now I do assistant engineering work for a company related to my original electronics tech job. I get to use a lot of graphics programs to create documentation and user manuals. As a plus we produce and design electronic equipment, so my previous knowlege on how things work is not wasted. The pay could be better, but as things are right now, I scrimp by making my house payments and still have a few cents left over for eating out and hobbies. Besides, I still don't have any formal education beyond high school.
